PSYCHO HUNTER!

 A retro text based shooter/adventure/horror/comedy gore fest.

Psycho Hunter reaches back to the early 80s and drags the old school text based shooter into the present day, kicking, screaming, and dripping with questionable fluids. Explore towns, read intel, track psychos, blast them into chunks, and enjoy a steady stream of one liners, foul language and descriptive gore. If you like retro ASCII games, dark humor, and descriptions of gore that would get you kicked out of a family gathering, you’re in the right place.

THE STORY

You’re a retired vigilante who moved to a quiet rural town to escape the chaos of city life. You figured you were done shooting gangs, decapitating thugs, and creatively rearranging criminal anatomy. Then your police scanner lights up like a Christmas tree on fire.

- Shots at the graveyard.

- Shots at MacDonalt’s.

- Shots everywhere.

Then silence. You finish your lager, head to your man cave, slide the bookcase aside, and grab your beloved modified elephant gun. The gods have answered your prayers! It’s hunting season again!

FEATURES

Text based maps with a retro late 70's/ early 80s vibe. 18 intel descriptions and hints per town (with more coming). Smart psychos who move, hunt, and track you. One liners ranging from funny to foul to unhinged.  Scoring system + high score board. 9 towns/cities to explore (more coming). Did I mention extreme gore descriptions and foul language?

ON GOING DEVELOPMENT

Psycho Hunter is an active, growing project. All future updates are free to anyone who buys the game.  Now included!  Kill ’Em All, a separate game mode where you take on gangs like the Tough Guys, the Thugs, and the Kitty Cat Mask Guys. Currently the add-on is still being developed, but runs well.

Down the road: More towns and cities, more intel files, more one liners, more disgusting ways for psychos to ruin your day., more gore and more foul language! There’s even concept art in the manual to spark your imagination.
